This is a new £9m primary special school located adjacent the Moat House Primary School which we completed in 2004. This new special school will have the provision for 112 pupils. The building is a single storey steel framed construction with a mixture of brickwork, render and glazed cladding.
The new building was designed to achieve a “Very Good” BREEAM rating. The external works drainage was designed to incorporate the extensive use of SUDS in the form of permeable pavements, Cellular storage attenuation and an online pond.
